No need to book just turn up and start playing.

You are welcome to bring your own board games as well if you want.

Starts at 4.30pm and runs until 10pm

Our Charity Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament for the Cardiff Foodbank returns for the first time since 2019!!

Please bring one item from the ‘most needed food items’ list for entry into the tournament. When considering potential future donations to Cardiff Food Bank make sure to check the website https://cardiff.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/ to check what is most needed. 

Please do not bring food items from the 'plenty of' list and try and coordinate with your friends to bring as large a variety from the list as possible!

The venue fee will be £3 and the winner of the tournament gets 1 month's membership to the Arcade for FREE! This gives you free entry for the entire month, plus 15% off EVERYTHING in the arcade, café and bar!

Rehearsal is the Cardiff Smash weeklies from Showtime, Wales' number 1 Smash Ultimate Scene!

Pre-sign ups are essential, so as this is a weekly event we'll direct you to their Discord for more information.

Melee is back!

We'll kick off with a singles tournament bracket and go from there - no pre-registration required, just turn up for now. Doors open at 5, bracket to kick off around 6!

Ever wanted to try out an RPG (known as Role Play Game)? Did you know there's a whole host of different types of RPG games available out there that include the ever popular Dungeons & Dragons, as well as Call of Cthulu, Cyberpunk and even Star Wars?

With our experienced Games Masters, we're going to be running a selection games for those of you who are after a one-off RPG fix, over 2 sessions (12pm - 4pm and 5pm - 9pm). Our super friendly team will aim to ease you in and will also make sure you have a fun and wild adventure!

Please note, all these campaigns are only suitable for those ages 18 and over:

• A Fools Errand: It’s Morphin Time
• Pulp Cthulhu!: Dark Sands
• Red Chrome Cargo

And, we've reduced our entry prices to just £5, which include a free soft drink and a selection of table snacks to keep you going throughout your game. Plus, you can get 10% off all RPG merchandise in the shop!

Would you like to come along and do some hobby with a group of like minded individuals?

Are you a Tabletop Gamer and need some help in getting those dragon wings to stay on or aren’t sure how the body of your latest tank fits together before you glue it? Would you like some help in organising your Magic the Gathering cards into a formidable deck?

Has your Gundam suite powered down and won’t power back up?

Then we invite you all to the first of our Hobby days on Saturday 2nd April 2022. We’ll setting up a hobby station in our Community Rooms at The Arcade Vaults where you can come along and build, paint and event play some of those Tabletop Games that we know you all love and enjoy! 

We have a whole host of experienced Volunteers on hand with over 50 years of experience in Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40k, Bolt Action, Necromunda, Star Wars Legion, Magic the Gathering and more on hand to help you with your hobby needs. 

Come on down and join us! Bring your own Hobby #BYOH whilst we will have a limited supply of hobby tools and protective equipment on hand. As we’re growing our hobby supplier, we encourage you to bring all the paint, glue, clippers and brushes that you think you’ll need on the day!
